Getting ready for the 4th!

I spent most the day today with Athina picking up supplies for the 4th of July tomorrow. We have a wonderful parade every year in our community, and kids compete for prizes such as best costume, bike and so forth. So needless to say Bella and I spent a lot of time getting her all set for the parade. Bella worked on decorating a T-shirt for her to wear, and I took care of the bike. I'll probably try to post a picture when it is all done. I did have lunch with a new wedding client today. The wedding is for next year. I have quite a few booked for next year already! Anyway that's all for now.

Published in the Press!

Today, our local newsapaper the press republican printed one of my "bald eagle" pictures in the outdoor wildlife section of the newspaper. This is the second time that they have published one of my photographs. They printed one of my osprey pictures earlier this year. Bald Eagles like to sit in trees with a good view of the water. In this picture which was taken in March of this year, the eagle was perched high in this tree near the lake.

Fishing Fun!

Today I went fishing with my dad. I caught 2 perch and 1 bass. Fishing is my favorite sport. My second favorite sport also has something to do with water too. Did you guess? It's swimming. Now I will show you some pictures of me and my fish.

Here's one of my perch!

Look at the size of this bass!

Beating the heat!

Last week we had a few days that topped out in the upper 90's. Our friends the Leonards were kind enough to let everyone come over and cool off in their pool. Here's a few pics from the day.

Welcome to our family blog. We figured that since we have family and friends scattered around the globe that this would be a great way to share with them whats going on in the life of Athina, Melina, Bella and myself. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave a comment to say hi!
